The History to this point

So far I have dealt with  the early days of the biscuit industry and the various companies that opened or closed up to 1946. It was at that time that I joined Bakers Ltd and the main players in the biscuit industry  were

• Baumann's Biscuits, Cape Town; 
• Bakers Ltd, Durban; 
• Hay's Biscuits, Pietermaritzburg; 
• Premier Biscuits, Johannesburg; 
• and Pyott's Biscuits, Port Elizabeth and this in effect was to be the general position during  the ensuing years.
