Origin of Names and Packs

Snackbread (Crackerbread)

This was a line popular in Europe.  Bakers Ltd decided to install the specialized equipment for making this product and introduced it onto the market as “Snackbread”.

The market was not big enough to warrant another manufacturer installing a similar machine and so Pyotts approached us and asked us whether we would make the product for them under their own name.  We therefore made the identical product for Pyotts and packed it in similar sized boxes, but printed with their design and shipped it to their depots.  We never had any problems with this arrangement.  Pyotts called their line “Crackerbread”.
